The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D - Nintendo 3DS

Like every Zelda game, this game has temples and dungeons. These have puzzles and riddles that you need to solve to progress. At the end, there is always a boss (sometimes there's also a mini-boss) that you have to defeat. You always need a specific item or weapon to collect those bosses. Oh, and in every dungeon or temple, there's also a special item to find.

What I think is the coolest in this game are the songs you can play on your ocarina. I think the 'Requiem of Spirit' is the coolest song of them all. You can also travel through time. Pull out the Master Sword from the anvil, and you'll travel 7 years into the future, put it back into the anvil and travel 7 years back.

This game is packed with action and adventure and is a must-have for 3DS owners.

The only downside in my opinion: I feel there is a lack of innovations. But well, the most important thing for me in a game is if I can enjoy playing it. And I can say with great enthusiasm that I have enjoyed this game! The game doesn't deserve a 10 in my opinion, but still a solid 8.9.

One of the most striking improvements in Ocarina of Time 3D is the revamped graphics. The world of Hyrule looks brighter, sharper, and more colourful than ever before. Characters and environments are more detailed and have a lovely new look that breathes new life into old Hyrule. The transition to 3D adds depth to the environments and brings iconic locations, such as Hyrule Field, Kokiri Forest, and the Temple of Time, beautifully to life.

The soundtrack, composed by the legendary Koji Kondo, remains a masterpiece and features classic tunes that you'll never forget. The sound has been enhanced for the 3DS version, making the music and sound effects sound even better. From the cheerful melodies of Kakariko Village to the ominous music in the Shadow Temple, the music enhances the atmosphere of each location and situation.

Ocarina of Time 3D also includes a Master Quest mode once you complete the game for the first time. This is a harder version of the game where everything is mirrored and all enemies are twice as strong. This offers a fresh challenge for veterans looking for a new experience after completing the regular game.

The difficulty of the original is just right, with challenging puzzles and enemies, and this holds true for this remake as well. The Sheikah Stones make it more accessible for less experienced gamers, making it suitable for a wider audience, which is only a good thing.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D is more than just a simple remake; it is a tribute to one of the best games of all time and introduces a new generation to Link's epic adventure. For anyone wanting to experience this classic adventure in an enhanced and portable form, Ocarina of Time 3D is a must-have.
