The most unique Zelda I've ever played
I've been playing Zelda games since I was very young, but for some reason, Majora's Mask had always eluded me. When I finally played this game for the first time, I knew I had found my new favorite Zelda (or maybe it shares that spot with The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D).

This is the first Zelda that truly gives its characters a personality, making you really empathize with them, and the many side quests become so much more meaningful. Skull Kid is a much more interesting enemy than Ganon, because he's not just "pure evil," but also a character with feelings and fears. The world of Termina, although smaller than Hyrule from Ocarina of Time, feels grand because each place exudes a personality and is unique. Gameplay-wise, this game is unique too; you don't just play as regular Link, but also as a Zora, Goron, and Deku Scrub, each with different powers and abilities.
The only downside I can think of is the limited number of dungeons, and that's the only reason I'm not giving this game a ten. Majora's Mask is not just a game, but also a work of art, and I recommend everyone to give it a try. (Don't be too put off by the time-bound nature of the game, it's manageable, especially in the remake.)

Best remake ever.
If you're around my age (not that old), chances are you've never played The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. Of course, you can download the game on the Wii's Virtual Console (like I did), but if you suddenly want a better version, you can also play this 3DS version.

Graphically, the game looks (much) better. Link (or whatever you want to call your character) looks a lot better, as do all the masks (except the Great Fairy mask, you just can't make that one look good...).

The game itself is - just like the original - a lot of fun to play. I'm disappointed that there are only 4 dungeons, but to fill that void, the game is packed with side quests (and their rewards).

Nintendo has also added a few new things to this remake, like the handy Bombers Notebook, motion controls when firing arrows and bubbles as a Deku Scrub, and the best part,
the ability to freely rotate the camera! (With the new 3DS or circle pad pro)

This is now my favorite Zelda game ever, second only to Skyward Sword.
I would at least give this game a chance if you've never played the original.

Both for old veterans and newcomers, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D is a must
The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D is a remake of The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask that was released for the Nintendo 64. The game is known for its dark atmosphere in which Link must navigate the world within a time limit of three days. This makes Majora's Mask one of the most unique Zelda games.

On the Nintendo 3DS, Majora's Mask has seen a significant graphical improvement, unique features have been added for the Nintendo 3DS system, and the game has become more user-friendly. All these elements make this remake worthwhile even if you played the original years ago.

For newcomers as well, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D is an absolute must. The gripping story, dark atmosphere, beautiful world, stunning music, and great gameplay make Majora's Mask a real gem.

Yes, there's a constant timer in the game reminding you that the world is ending in 3 days. But this creates such a unique experience that any Zelda fan shouldn't miss out on.

This is one of the more somber, dark games in the Zelda series (alongside Twilight Princess). The music sounds gloomy, and the game's tone of "the world is ending" feels more intense than any other Zelda game. It's precisely because of the tone and time pressure that it truly feels like you are the only hope for Clock Town. The atmosphere constantly feels oppressive, partly due to the time limit.

There are ways to manipulate time. And fortunately, in the 3DS version, you can always save in between for shorter sessions. Unfortunately, the Zora mask is slightly less cool than in the original N64 version, but that's just a minor frustration.

In short, if you want to play a dark, atmospheric Zelda game, then play The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D.

Zelda at its best
The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D is a bit different from your typical Zelda game. You actually relive the same 3 days over and over again. The time traveling aspect and the fact that all NPCs have their own schedule of what they do at a certain hour of a certain day, make for a very fun and unique experience.

The story of Majora's Mask is quite dark, especially for a Zelda game. The dungeons and puzzles are also very well-crafted.

All of this makes Majora's Mask one of my favorite games overall. Personally, I even find this game more enjoyable than the legendary Ocarina of Time (also definitely recommended!)

If you're having trouble finding a mask in The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D, you can simply use a walkthrough for the N64 version. However, there are two masks in this game that are hidden in different locations compared to the original. You can find the Stone Mask by speaking to the invisible soldier in Pirate's Fortress (who becomes visible with the Lens of Truth), and you'll automatically receive the Stone Mask halfway through the boss fight with Twinmold.

In this video, you can spot two incredibly cool Easter eggs in the Bomb Shop of The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D. If you look closely, you'll notice a genuine Nintendo Gamecube in the machine at the back! It's quite ironic, considering that when the game was first released, that console didn't even exist. To the right of it, you'll see the Ultra Hand, a toy from Nintendo that was also an Easter egg in Mario Kart 8 and Mario Power Tennis.

If you take a good look at the mask menu in The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D, you'll notice that the Keaton Mask, the Bremen Mask, the Bunny Hood, and the Don Gero Mask are lined up next to each other, representing a fox, a bird, a rabbit, and a frog. Could it be that their placement is not coincidental and that this is a nod to Fox McCloud, Falco Lombardi, Peppy Hare, and Slippy Toad?
