Nostalgia Done Right
The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds (ALBW) is a remake of the SNES classic The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (ALTTP). The game world has largely remained the same compared to its counterpart from 1992, but the dungeons have all been revamped. Unlike ALTTP, there is no fixed order in which you tackle the dungeons. This is also due to the fact that many items are available almost from the beginning. For example, you can rent a boomerang for a reasonable price, but if you die, you lose your items again. Therefore, you can also buy items, albeit at a much higher price. This gives the game a more open dimension and consequently offers more freedom.

The use of these items this time is not related to an amount of ammunition (such as bombs or arrows), but to an energy meter that slowly refills. So, you have to think carefully about how and when to use your items.

Traveling between the game worlds is done through 'cracks' in walls. You have the ability to warp yourself into a kind of Mr. Game & Watch-like mode in a wall. Of course, this leads to all kinds of clever puzzles and the game has made excellent use of this feature to hide various secrets.

Graphically, this game is top-notch. The 3D feature may strain your eyes a bit at first, but you get used to it over time and I really think it adds something to the gameplay. Dungeons with multiple floors gain depth and you can truly see the floors beneath you. The animations are very smooth, and the pace of the game is fast, which enhances its playability.

As you may have read, this game is an improved version of ALTTP. The developers have managed to revive the nostalgia of the 90s while keeping it fresh enough to immediately captivate die-hard Zelda fans. Besides the main story, there is plenty to explore, with numerous side quests and collectibles to be found. Therefore, I reject the notion of some people claiming 'too short gameplay'. While the main story can be completed in a good 10 hours, you can easily spend another 10 hours on what I have written above. Want to truly challenge yourself? Then play the game again in hero mode. You'll easily find yourself another 20 hours in it.

Lastly, I want to mention the soundtrack. My god, it's so good. Some tunes from ALTTP make a return in an improved version, and they gave me goosebumps time and time again. A feast of recognition for ALTTP enthusiasts.

Classic Greatness, Yet Innovative!
The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds takes you back to the world of A Link to the Past. If you've ever played this game, you'll recognize the landscapes and the castle. This is especially fun for Zelda fans.

The music is simply at Zelda level. Composer Koji Kondo (my idol) has once again done an amazing job. Each song reflects the environment wonderfully, and with remakes of the classics from A Link to the Past, the music is simply brilliant.

The gameplay is the classic overhead view as in most portable Zeldas, but in this game, there is one major difference: merging.

In The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, you can transform into a painting and "merge" into the wall. This provides a fantastic never-before-seen puzzle experience and a lot of new options.

How you acquire items is also very different in The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. This time, instead of finding items in dungeons, you rent them from Ravio. At the beginning of the game, Ravio takes over your house and turns it into his shop. I find the concept innovative, but it can also be annoying. For the first time, you can do something with your Rupees, but that's the only advantage. If you die, you have to rent the items again.

I could go on for hours about this amazing game; it is definitely a must-play.

Completed!
This game is delightful to play. Whenever I had some free time, I quickly fired up The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds again. Embarking on an adventure each time.

In this Zelda game, you really don't want to die. Because then you lose a big part of your weapons. This makes you play very cautiously (and save very often). It worked very well for me!

The last Zelda game I completed was the first one on the NES. I often gave up because it took too long or because I had no idea where to go. This Zelda is different and not too difficult. With the many items, it remains challenging and varied enough to stay engaging.

A gem for the Nintendo 3DS system
After the remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, Nintendo felt it was time for a brand-new The Legend of Zelda adventure for the Nintendo 3DS, a prospect that fans of the series could only love. In contrast to Ocarina of Time, A Link Between Worlds returns to a top-down view and serves as a sequel to the fantastic The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past.

Despite the fact that you view the adventure from above, just like in the old days, the graphical style has been significantly revamped. This results in the game looking beautiful yet atmospheric, which is perfect as the story also carries a charming atmosphere enhanced by gorgeous music.

One of the few downsides to note is that the game might feel a bit on the easy side for seasoned Zelda fans. Nevertheless, the collectibles scattered throughout the world provide enough challenge.

In conclusion: The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds guarantees about 25 hours of adventure and delight.

Great game!
The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds is probably one of the best Zelda games. To start with, this game has introduced a new feature, transforming into a drawing on the wall. In this mode, you can move on the wall to find secrets, solve puzzles, and go through cracks in the wall. Through these cracks in the wall, you go to Lorule. It's a devastated version of Hyrule, where you will find the majority of this game's temples. The temples in this game are the best of any Zelda game, as transforming into a drawing provides many interesting puzzles. Many of this game's temples have interesting themes that have not appeared in a Zelda game before, and you can do the temples in any order you want. This is partly because you can buy or rent all items immediately. This also means that you don't have to wait to reach certain places or find some treasure chests. Furthermore, this is the first time you rent items instead of buying them. Renting means you can use the item until you die. Then you have to return it and rent it again, but don't worry. After you've completed the first 2 temples, you can also just buy the items, but that costs a lot more Rupees. The story is better than most Zelda games, but still nothing special. Furthermore, the world is the same as in A Link To The Past (GBA) and it's very nice to see this world in better graphics.
This game is definitely recommended if you like Zelda games, puzzles, beautiful worlds, or good games.

One of the Best 2D Zelda Games
Zelda A Link Between Worlds is an amazing game. The story is refreshingly different from the traditional tales where Ganon threatens the world. You get to meet interesting characters who are part of the story. Furthermore, it's a traditional 2D Zelda game in the style of the SNES. But with a twist, you can flatten yourself like Paper Mario and transport yourself through black holes to the 'other world'. This allows you to access parts of the world that were previously inaccessible. The gameplay is very good, as you gain access to all weapons relatively quickly after the beginning. And you can complete the dungeons in any order. This way, you truly experience your own adventure. Of course, there is some structure due to the story elements, so you're not entirely free. There are also fun puzzle elements in each dungeon that utilize Link's flat version. This means you can move along walls to platforms you couldn't reach otherwise. It requires some creative thinking. Usually, the solutions are straightforward. But sometimes you'll be surprised by what's possible. Everything culminates in an exciting ending, making it well worth playing.

A Masterpiece!
The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds is an amazing game for young and old alike. This game takes me back to the old days of the Super Nintendo but now revamped and in 3D! With some new moves and revamped levels, it just can't get any better.

For example, a new feature is that you can become a wall painting, merge into the wall, and walk through it, thus encountering new treasures and secret rooms.
As soon as you hear the music, you instantly feel cheerful and just want to start playing! No game has music as good as The Legend of Zelda!
This game is so well thought out! Just when you think you've finished the game, it continues, and that's what I love about this game! A Link Between Worlds is a game that you must play on the 3DS. I hope they will release another game as good as this one someday!
A Must Have for Nintendo fans!

Unique world-switching and polished 3D graphics
The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds on the Nintendo 3DS is, in my opinion, a masterful remaster of an already fantastic Zelda game. The unique element of switching between two worlds provides a fresh and challenging experience. Sometimes you have to do something in one world to progress in the other. This makes the puzzles incredibly clever and enjoyable. I find the idea of sticking yourself as a flat version on the wall to slip through cracks and navigate around obstacles very original and cleverly conceived.

The game looks stunning with its polished 3D graphics. It's truly a visual delight to navigate through the colourful and detailed worlds. The developers have managed to retain the atmosphere of the original while simultaneously elevating it to a higher level. This makes it not only a tribute to the original but perhaps even an improved version of it. For both seasoned Zelda fans and new players, this is a fantastic experience.

What I really appreciate about A Link Between Worlds is that it is accessible to both experienced gamers and newcomers. The gameplay is challenging but not frustrating. It offers a perfect balance between adventure and puzzle-solving. Whether you’ve been a fan of the series for years or are playing a Zelda game for the first time, this title comes highly recommended. It's fantastic how they have combined the classic elements of the series with innovative gameplay.

Best Zelda Game for 3DS
This game puts a new spin on the world of 'A Link to the Past'. If you've played that game before, you'll recognize quite a few things. The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds does introduce some new game mechanics. For instance, Link can transform into a painting. This means solving puzzles is not quite the same as in other Zelda games.

The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds is definitely the best Zelda game for the 3DS and overall one of the best games you can get for your 3DS. A highly recommended choice.

Truly the best Zelda on the 3DS
Of all the games I've played on the 3DS, this one might just be the best of them all. The design and gameplay are at least as good as parts on the larger consoles, and the story is a worthy successor to classics like A Link To The Past.

Although the remakes that have since appeared on the 3DS, such as Majora's Mask and Ocarina of Time, are definitely worth it, The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds is a game that you simply can't afford to miss!
