Nice, but not much more
Unfortunately, the game is not like the movie. It takes place after it, which can be a "spoiler alert" for some fans.
The visuals are a bit lacking. The bosses are fun to play against, and the difficulty level is just right. It's not too hard, but it's certainly not too easy at some points.
I think it's especially suitable for younger children and, of course, real Spider-Man fans.

Great game
I find The Amazing Spider-Man a really enjoyable game as a hardcore Spider-Man fan. I'm already quite far into it and the experience is already very good because: you can swing (the most important thing), it has smooth controls, and there's Web Rush. It's a kind of Chaos Control, allowing you to get to places faster, attack an enemy immediately, and destroy a machine gun. It's not an open-world game (which makes sense due to the 3DS processor), but you do get an extra mode, exclusively for the 3DS. In this mode, you can do side missions and level up to discover new locations. In short: a good game, nothing more.
