Star Fox 64 3D is a remake of the Nintendo 64 version, and oh boy what a fantastic game.
Few "space shooters" are as addictive and immersive as Star Fox 64 3D. The game doesn't take itself too seriously and isn't too difficult either. However, the action and the beautiful 3D effects, which truly add value by pulling you right into the game, will have you breaking a sweat and turning red-faced regularly.
The game is relatively short, but to keep you entertained, there's also a battle mode where you can compete against other friends in their airwings. A big plus is that you only need one game card for up to four players, but the downside is the absence of an online mode.
Even as a pretty casual gamer, I could appreciate this intense game. It's a small masterpiece. Cijfer:

Star Fox 64 3D is a remake of the Nintendo 64 game Lylat Wars. The immersive storyline, the familiar characters, and such have remained the same, but thanks to the features of the 3DS, it still feels like a new game.
To start with, this spaceshooter not only looks graphically much better than the original. The 3D effect also adds a lot. Star Fox is a series that is perfect for 3D. You can fly better with your Arwing and it takes you through space. Once you have mastered the somewhat tricky controls, you'll be zooming that Arwing through space at super speed, effortlessly blasting enemies.

Unfortunately, the game is very short. There are only a few missions to play. It's a shame that Nintendo didn't manage to add something extra to the solo game. A newly added game mode is the Battlemode, where you can compete against your friends. This game mode is a lot of fun to play, thanks to its chaotic and humorous elements. However, the lack of an online multiplayer is a big miss.

Let's get straight to the point, Star Fox 64 3D really misses a multiplayer option. You fly in the air and have to shoot down enemies trying to destroy a planet. It's a very exciting game to play, but once you've completed it, you probably won't play it anymore. That's a shame because if this game had a multiplayer option, you would play it for much longer.
