Takes you on a journey to the fantasy world!
I'm such a huge Pokémon fan that I got X and Y. Pokémon Y is really good, the story truly takes you on a journey to the fantasy world of Pokémon. There are also hundreds of Pokémon that you really want to train and catch, which is something that makes this game so fun and original! As you can see, the game has really changed compared to the old Pokémon games and I definitely recommend this one.

Once again a true Pokemon game! Some people think that Pokemon has been milked dry (718+ Pokemon is indeed a lot). But the real enthusiast is completely taken with the renewed gameplay of Pokémon Y. Personally, I don't use the 3D effect because there are only a few specific parts where you actually see it. This is a bit of a shame. However, overall, it's a superbly beautiful and graphically well-crafted game!
The mega evolutions are also amazing to see. All in all, a Pokemon addiction for me!

The old Pokemon are back!
What's great is that I can't stand all those weird and complicated new Pokemon, but in Pokémon Y you quickly get Pokemon from the old generations. That makes it a lot more fun! Furthermore, the game has been made much more beautiful than the old Pokemon games. That's also a big improvement!

New and old Pokémon are back!!
Pokémon X and Y are top games! You can choose between Chespin, Fennekin, and Froakie, and also from the Kanto starters. There is also a new type, Fairy. The good thing about Fairy is:
1. new and old Pokémon can have it.
2. there is also a new evolution of Eevee into Fairy type.
3. It's a type that is effective against Dragon-type Pokémon.
Another cool feature of Pokémon Y is the mega evolutions. There are, however, 2 not so nice things about it. They are difficult to find and the new Pokémon from X and Y do not have mega evolutions. But apart from that, everything about this game is really cool.

Not the best of the series, but still more than decent
Since I played this part of the series simultaneously with Pokémon X, my opinion is practically the same.

This installment certainly upholds the Pokémon tradition, with once again a larger arsenal of collectible monsters, trainers, and side activities like Pokemon-Amie and of course Super Training. And once again, it's great fun for all gamers, whether they are long-time fans or newcomers.

However, I do believe that the game's difficulty has been significantly lowered to the point where there is hardly any need to strategize on how to battle with your Pokémon. And that remains a shame in such an awesome series like this.

Nice game but Pokemon X is even nicer!
I have to say that I prefer Pokemon X. That game is exactly the same except for a few exclusives. The exclusive missed in Pokémon Y is the blue mega Charizard Evolution. In Pokemon Y, it's just orange. Think before you choose a game because some mega evolutions are unique to each game. Mewtwo also has a unique mega evolution per game.

Very fun game set in a beautiful world!
As a Pokémon enthusiast, with Pokémon Y I got to experience the online features where Pokémon can be traded all over the world. The new region, called Kalos, has a charming design. You can travel through a desert, a swamp, an idyllic forest, a luminous cave, and a city covered in snow. The little train on the mountain is also a funny addition. It's very enjoyable that this game is displayed in 3D. This makes you feel more immersed in the game. It's especially fun when you wander through the large city of Lumiose City or through the luminous caves. This makes Pokémon Y a graphical gem!! The new Pokémon are a nice addition, although there are fewer of them compared to previous generations. A small downside to this game is that the story can be completed very quickly and relatively easily. Additionally, I'm a fan of the feature to rebattle trainers as seen in the ORAS generation with the Pokénav or the Vs. Seeker in the FRLG generation. Unfortunately, in this version, this is very limited to the Battle Chateau and a few trainers in Lumiose City.

A game that still feels super modern even now!
Pokémon Y is one of my favorite Pokemon games. My first game on the 3DS was Omega Ruby, and this one followed not long after. Omega Ruby was amazing, but Pokemon Y is still my favorite. It feels super modern, even now. Especially since many people are disappointed with the newer Pokemon games, this one is worth it!
With a fantastic soundtrack and a huge variety of new Pokemon to enjoy, this is a must-play!
(PS: Now that Nintendo has just teased the new Pokemon Z-A, this game has become even more appealing!)

In this game, developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo, you embark on a journey as a young Pokémon Trainer aiming to conquer the Pokémon League and become the world's best Trainer. Along the way, you'll encounter many new Pokémon, including the majestic legendary Pokémon Yveltal. The game also introduces Mega Evolutions, an exciting new mechanic that temporarily boosts certain Pokémon's strength in battles. And that brings me so much joy!

Easter Eggs and Glitches:
How can I prevent my save file from getting corrupted in Pokémon X and Y on the 3DS?
Wesleye98
23045
Recently (15th October 2013), a serious bug has emerged in the 3DS game Pokémon X and Y. If you save your game in Lumiose City (the largest city in the centre), the game will freeze and you won't be able to use the save file anymore. So make sure you don't save in Lumiose City of Pokémon X if you don't want to start over!!

Secrets:
How can I catch Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres after defeating the Pokémon League?
Keepz
170
As soon as you defeat the Pokémon League, you'll quickly encounter Articuno, Zapdos, or Moltres while wandering around in the grass. You won't be able to catch it, as it will fly away immediately without giving you a chance to throw a Poké Ball.

However, you've seen it, so you can look up its location in the Pokédex. Do that, and you'll see that it's located somewhere random on the map. It moves around regularly, so you need to get to it quickly by walking. Don’t use the Fly HM, as doing so will send your future legendary bird to a completely different location. The trick is to take advantage of this by flying to a central point (I recommend Lumiose City) until you see in your Pokédex that it’s nearby. Then, hurry to that route and dive into the grass! Sometimes you might encounter a few other Pokémon first, and sometimes it may have flown away from that area, but most of the time, you'll find it.

But you're not done yet! Even when you encounter it for the second time, it will fly away before you get a turn to throw a ball. An ability like Wobbuffet's (Shadow Tag) won't stop it from fleeing either. You'll need to encounter it at least 10 times, after which you'll see it listed in your Pokédex in Sea Spirit Den. Surf there and enter the cave; if you're standing in the right spot, it will suddenly attack you! It won't run away this time, so you can catch it at your leisure. (Of course, make sure to save before you enter the cave!)

What are 3 handy tips for playing Pokémon on the 3DS?
Destroymic helle

1. If you have Cheat Pokémon in Black(2)/White(2), you CANNOT transfer them to Pokémon Y.

2. The new Action Replay (brand Powersaves) for the 3DS is really handy for unlocking Battle Points, money, O-Powers, and similar items (there are NOT any rare Pokémon available yet, only Darkrai). This is a USB cable with a 3DS card holder. When you connect it (with the game inside) to a laptop or PC (make sure to install the software first), you can upload the cheats. You can also always restore your save file, as it saves every modification. This is from

3. If you want to catch Moltres, Articuno, or Zapdos (this depends on your starter), it's best to go to a location where you can quickly access a route with bushes from a town, allowing you to return to the town just as quickly. Each time you do this, the location of the bird Pokémon changes. The best spot (where I managed to do it) is in Couriway Town, then head to Route 18 (north of the town). Use repels! The bird Pokémon will break through them, but the others won’t. I also recommend only cycling/running through the first two patches of bushes and then heading back to the town. It took me 20 minutes, and then I caught it in Pokémon Y.
