Pokémon Y, a Fantastic adventure in the enchanting Kalos region! In this game, developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo, you embark on a journey as a young Pokémon Trainer aiming to conquer the Pokémon League and become the world's best Trainer. How can I prevent my save file from getting corrupted in Pokémon X and Y on the 3DS?
Recently (15th October 2013), a serious bug has emerged in the 3DS game Pokémon X and Y. If you save your game in Lumiose City (the largest city in the centre), the game will freeze and you won't be able to use the save file anymore. So make sure you don't save in Lumiose City of Pokémon X if you don't want to start over!!

How can I catch Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres after defeating the Pokémon League?
Keepz |
| 170 |
As soon as you defeat the Pokémon League, you'll quickly encounter Articuno, Zapdos, or Moltres while wandering around in the grass. You won't be able to catch it, as it will fly away immediately without giving you a chance to throw a Poké Ball.
However, you've seen it, so you can look up its location in the Pokédex. Do that, and you'll see that it's located somewhere random on the map. It moves around regularly, so you need to get to it quickly by walking. Don’t use the Fly HM, as doing so will send your future legendary bird to a completely different location. The trick is to take advantage of this by flying to a central point (I recommend Lumiose City) until you see in your Pokédex that it’s nearby. Then, hurry to that route and dive into the grass! Sometimes you might encounter a few other Pokémon first, and sometimes it may have flown away from that area, but most of the time, you'll find it.
But you're not done yet! Even when you encounter it for the second time, it will fly away before you get a turn to throw a ball. An ability like Wobbuffet's (Shadow Tag) won't stop it from fleeing either. You'll need to encounter it at least 10 times, after which you'll see it listed in your Pokédex in Sea Spirit Den. Surf there and enter the cave; if you're standing in the right spot, it will suddenly attack you! It won't run away this time, so you can catch it at your leisure. (Of course, make sure to save before you enter the cave!)

What is the reference to Dragonball Z in Pokémon on Route 10?
"It's over 9000!" is a well-known phrase from the Dragonball Z series, which has become quite famous on the internet. A trainer on Route 10 references this line by saying: "Wow! You and your Pokémon's power levels are incredible! They must be over 9,000 for sure!"

What are 3 handy tips for playing Pokémon on the 3DS?

1. If you have Cheat Pokémon in Black(2)/White(2), you CANNOT transfer them to Pokémon Y.
2. The new Action Replay (brand Powersaves) for the 3DS is really handy for unlocking Battle Points, money, O-Powers, and similar items (there are NOT any rare Pokémon available yet, only Darkrai). This is a USB cable with a 3DS card holder. When you connect it (with the game inside) to a laptop or PC (make sure to install the software first), you can upload the cheats. You can also always restore your save file, as it saves every modification. This is from
3. If you want to catch Moltres, Articuno, or Zapdos (this depends on your starter), it's best to go to a location where you can quickly access a route with bushes from a town, allowing you to return to the town just as quickly. Each time you do this, the location of the bird Pokémon changes. The best spot (where I managed to do it) is in Couriway Town, then head to Route 18 (north of the town). Use repels! The bird Pokémon will break through them, but the others won’t. I also recommend only cycling/running through the first two patches of bushes and then heading back to the town. It took me 20 minutes, and then I caught it in Pokémon Y.
