Nostalgic Remake with Modern Improvements
Pokémon Alpha Sapphire for the Nintendo 3DS is, in my opinion, a wonderful remake of the original Pokémon Sapphire. It takes you back to the enchanting Hoenn region, where you, as a young trainer, take on Team Aqua and other rivals. The game retains the charm of the original while adding improved graphics and modern gameplay mechanics. The story remains engaging as you pursue your dream of reaching the Pokémon League. The visual style gave me a nostalgic feeling, and the vibrant colours on the 3DS make the adventure even more beautiful.

The open world of Hoenn invites you to explore with its diverse landscapes and biomes. You can test your skills and discover new Pokémon. What I found really exciting was the addition of Mega Evolution. This new layer of strategy in battles allows you to elevate your favourite Pokémon to new heights. Additionally, the Quality of Life improvements, such as the enhanced navigation and the PokéNav Plus, are a welcome addition that makes the game more accessible and user-friendly.

The soundtrack is fantastic and contributes to the nostalgic atmosphere of the game. Pokémon Alpha Sapphire offers not only a nostalgic journey but also a modern experience that is perfectly suited for both novice trainers and seasoned Pokémon veterans. It’s an adventure you shouldn’t miss if you love Pokémon.

Fly through this game
Beautiful remake. Nintendo is also known for the remakes of Zelda and among others Pokemon Soulsilver. This is the first 3DS remake of Pokémon and what a fantastic game! I completed Pokémon Alpha Sapphire in 2 days in one go. If you've played the Gameboy versions before, the game feels very familiar. Definitely a recommendation! There are old elements that have been improved and elements that are completely new, but certainly add to the game.

The good old/new times
I simply asked for Pokémon Alpha Sapphire for my birthday, because it just seemed like a fun game to me. No regrets! This game features old elements, like Team Aqua/Magma, overworld, Pokémon in Hoenn. But it also includes mega evolution in the storyline, of course with those new forms of Groudon and Kyogre. You can play this game for pure nostalgia or if you've never explored Hoenn before. The secret bases are also very enjoyable. It's just a shame that Pokemon becomes very easy.

Super cool game
Wow, Pokémon Alpha Sapphire has such a great storyline. Compared to old games, I think this game is the best so far. There are so many new options added, and I'm not just talking about the attacks. I especially like that you have your own Secret Base, which you get a bit later in the game. You can buy items for your Secret Base at a market to decorate it nicely. Additionally, you can visit other players' Secret Bases where you can battle other trainers and receive something cool for your own Secret Base.

But that's not the only new thing; there's also the Eon Flute. You get this when you have a Latias. With the Eon Flute, you can fly above the island and access islands with legendary Pokémon. For example, in the Trackless Forest, you can catch the legendary Pokémon Entei, Raikou, and Suicune. All thanks to the Eon Flute. In short, I am very satisfied and happy with this game.
It's a definite recommendation.

A top-notch remake
Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire are remakes of the Gameboy games Ruby and Sapphire and are set in the Hoenn region.

Elements from the old games like the Secret Base are back! The Secret Base is a spot you discover on your adventure and can customize. Other players can also visit your base. The storyline of the original game has also been slightly adjusted to incorporate mega evolution.

New to this version is the Area Nav. This makes it much easier to find Pokemon, as it shows you which Pokemon can be found on a specific route and allows you to track the Pokemon you want to catch. You can also fly around with Mega-Latios/Latias.

All in all, a fantastic Pokemon game.

Finally, a highlight in the series again!
Where previous parts in the series actually showed less quality and originality, it is a remake of the third generation that shows how it should be done.

The story of Pokémon Alpha Sapphire is just as strong as before, the presentation is better than ever, and the added features compared to the original make it so that even the most experienced player of the original Pokémon Sapphire has a reason to play this game.

The only downside is that following in the footsteps of Pokémon X and Pokémon Sun, this game attempts to lower the difficulty level more than ever. But if this is really the only downside, it is still the best one in recent years!

Fantastic Remake with Nostalgic Charm and Modern Twist
What a fantastic remake this is!

Pokémon Alpha Sapphire and Pokémon Omega Ruby for the Nintendo 3DS largely follow the same storyline as the original Ruby and Sapphire, but with a modern twist for the year 2014. The visual enhancements and added details provided me with a fresh experience while still managing to retain the nostalgic charm of the original games.

Cool additions compared to Ruby and Sapphire include Mega Pokémon, which are a kind of extra evolutions that make your Pokémon even stronger. The Primal forms of Kyogre and Groudon make them look even more fierce. The expansion of the storyline with 'The Delta Episode' gave me an extra reason to keep playing, and the ability to soar around on a legendary Pokémon was a real highlight for me.

Due to my nostalgia for the classic Pokémon games, playing Pokémon Alpha Sapphire felt like a delight. This is a must-play for Pokémon enthusiasts because of the perfect blend of old and new elements. The improved graphics, expanded storyline, and new gameplay mechanics make it an incredibly well-crafted remake.

Pokémon Alpha Sapphire is a super cool game where the Pokemon from generation 3 make a return. It's a game with fun cities like Mauville City, a city indoors, and Fortree City, a city with treehouses, but also so cool because of the new mega evolutions. I think Rayquaza's mega evolution is the coolest.

Classic Pokémon Experience in a Polished Package
A 3D remake of Pokémon Alpha Sapphire on the Game Boy Advance. The art style remains true to the original game and the gameplay is the old classic Pokémon, without the "newer" look and changes from more recent games like Moon & Sun. You still have to complete the classic gyms to eventually take on the best Pokémon trainers in the League. You traverse the towns from the original game. In fact, everything has remained untouched and simply polished, which as a fan you can only appreciate. One of the best Pokémon games, and personally I think it’s a better game than the new titles in the series.

Fly through Hoenn once again in these remakes
Personally, this is my favorite Pokémon remake! The graphics are amazing and the gameplay is very good. The addition of Mega Evolution in Gen 3 was a great choice, and the post-game content ensures that the game remains fun after completion! Highly recommended!

Soaring over Hoenn with Latias remains a delight and special every time, even years later. One of the many highlights in Pokémon Alpha Sapphire!

Fantastic game full of nostalgia and new adventures
It was difficult to get Pokémon Alpha Sapphire, but eventually I succeeded by staying in touch. The game for the Nintendo 3DS is truly fantastic. Top game for young and old
Pokémon Alpha Sapphire is an amazing game! As a Pokémon fan, I really enjoyed it. The graphics are fantastic and the Pokémon look amazing. Exploring the beautiful landscape and catching Pokémon brought me a lot of joy. The addition of Pokémon Contests made me very happy and made it even more fun. The game kept me entertained for hours and I definitely recommend it to other Pokémon enthusiasts!
Even if you don't know anything about Pokémon, you can still play it just fine, as there is a clear explanation included.

Super game, cool remake
Pokémon Alpha Sapphire is truly a very good remake. I purchased this game to relive childhood memories and it certainly delivered; the game is a real improvement on the original Pokémon Sapphire.
A lot of cool things have been added, such as the Primal versions of Groudon and Kyogre. You can fly on Latios or Latias across the entire map, there are various Mystery Islands where you can catch legendary Pokémon from other generations of Pokémon, and so on.

A handy tip for new players of Pokémon Alpha Sapphire is to assemble a balanced team of Pokémon. By this, I mean that you need different types of Pokémon, such as fire, water, grass, electric, and so on. This way, you'll be effective against various opponents during battles, making fights easier and allowing you to progress through the game more quickly.

It's also important to regularly train your Pokémon and let them evolve so they become stronger. You train them by defeating other Pokémon, which earns you experience points (exp). Each level of a Pokémon requires a certain amount of exp.

Some Pokémon evolve by using special stones. These stones, such as the Water Stone, Thunder Stone, and Fire Stone, can be found or purchased in the game. When you use the right stone on the corresponding Pokémon, it will evolve.

You can either head to the stone seller on Route 114 or receive the one for your chosen starter from Steven.

If you have little experience with Pokémon games, it's a good idea to start with the Gameboy Advance version before diving into Pokémon Alpha Sapphire. This way, you'll become familiar with the game and easily notice the differences. It also makes the storyline much easier to navigate!

How can you quickly get shiny Pokémon?

Shiny Pokémon. The chance of encountering one is 1 in 8000, but there are ways to increase that chance in Pokémon Alpha Sapphire.

1. Once you’ve caught all the Pokémon (except for those you need to get from events), you should go to Professor Birch to claim the shiny charm. This increases your chance of encountering a shiny to 1 in 2730.

2. Breed using the Masuda method. For this, you need to breed 2 Pokémon from 2 different countries (like a German Milotic and an American Ditto). This raises the chance of breeding a shiny Pokémon to 1 in 1638 without the shiny charm.

3. Go fishing! The best strategy is to fish near as many rocks as possible to increase your chances of catching a fish. The more fish you catch in a row, the greater the chance of encountering a shiny. However, if you reel in your line too early or too late, and you see the message "nothing seems to bite here," or if someone asks you to do something via the PSS, your chances will reset to normal.

4. This is the trickiest method, but it involves using the DexNav. First, buy a load of super or max repels, and make sure you have a Pokémon with plenty of PP while in a grassy area. You need to sneak around and use the repels to avoid encountering any Pokémon other than the one you’re trying to sneak up on. You’ll typically encounter the same Pokémon repeatedly, but never run away from one. Either defeat it or catch it. After encountering the same Pokémon 20 times (it can occasionally be a different Pokémon), your chance of encountering a shiny is 1 in 200 without the shiny charm.

Throughout the story of Pokémon Alpha Sapphire, either Latios or Latias becomes your ally, depending on the version of the game you're playing. You can hop on their back and explore the Hoenn region from above.

After a while, you'll notice a red star twinkling above certain locations. When you're at the island, head towards the purple portal. Here, you'll find a legendary Pokémon waiting for you.

Here are a few special tips for finding Uxie, Azelf, and Mesprit:
In the game, you can pet your Pokémon and give them Poképuffs.
Once you've earned all the hearts with 3 Pokémon in your team, you can find these legendary Pokémon in the Nameless Cavern:
Uxie between 8:00 PM and 9:00 PM, Azelf between 9:00 PM and 3:59 AM, and Mesprit between 4:00 AM and 7:59 PM.
So, sometimes it can be super late! I once set my alarm in the middle of the night just for this. XD
