Reviews Pilotwings Resort 8 reviews - average rating 7,9Amazingly beautiful 3D effect! This is a launch game for the Nintendo 3DS and it performs excellently by utilizing what the 3DS is all about; the 3D effect. When you slide up the 3D slider in the game, your mouth will slowly drop open until you say: WOW! The 3D effect in this game is so stunning that it really impacts your playing style. It makes flying and depth perception much easier.
The game features a Mission mode and Free Flight. The missions are very diverse; from safely landing within a time limit, to flying as high as possible with the hang glider or flying through rings. In short, very challenging and varied. Read more...
Do you want to freely fly over the beautiful island? You can do that too! Although with little time, namely 2 minutes, but this way you can leisurely fly around, pop balloons, or collect the i-icons, which return from Wii Sports Resort. Due to the time limit, it takes a while to find all the i-icons. For example, the i's on the golf island. It's far away and flying there quickly results in a Time Over.
Pilotwings Resort is a nice blend of Pilotwings (N64) and Wii Sports Resort, and the 3D effect seals the deal. Fun game and you must play it. Whether as a demo version in the store or as a full game: Check out the 3D! Hide. Cijfer:

Great! In Wii Sports Resort, I love the flying sports, and that love continues with this game. Of course, the shorter flight time in the Free Flight Mode (from 5:00 in Wii Sports Resort to 2:00 in Pilotwings Resort) is a shame, but that doesn't spoil the fun. With the missions, the five new air vehicles, and of course the 3D effect, Pilotwings Resort is a great game! Cijfer:
8,0For what it is, it works excellently! Pilotwings Resort is the third game in a series of highly memorable games. Its predecessors, the SNES and N64 versions, were highly acclaimed classics. And after a 15-year sabbatical, a new installment finally appeared in 2011 for Nintendo's latest handheld console. Even though the game may not be as revolutionary as its predecessors, and it's not a huge game that will blow your mind, Pilotwings Resort is still a welcome addition to the game collection of children and casual gamers.

Beautiful 3D game with lots of possibilities Pilotwings Resort is a very enjoyable game. Firstly, because it actually makes use of the 3D feature. This extra dimension makes the game very beautiful. Just like the stunning graphics. Secondly, it plays very smoothly and there is plenty to discover and experience. With the wide variety of vehicles, you can carry out all sorts of missions and explore the skies. Cijfer:

Very enjoyable missions! Super fun game with a lot of content! Pilotwings Resort has great potential. Unfortunately, this is not fully utilized. The missions are very enjoyable, but there are too few of them. In short, they haven't fully realized its potential. The game is visually very good, but sometimes it can be a disadvantage. When flying over the island in free-flight mode during the day with the sun shining in your face, you can't see where you're flying. As a result, you might crash into something and lose a few precious seconds. However, in terms of value for money, Pilotwings Resort is very good. Definitely recommended! Cijfer:
8,0The best Pilotwings ever! After the Nintendo 64, no more Pilotwings games were released. It's a shame because this is one of Nintendo's classic and original game series. Fortunately, there is now a Pilotwings for the 3DS. The only downside to the Pilotwings games was that the difficulty level could become quite high after a while, but this 3DS version is more accessible than the previous games. In my opinion, this is indeed the best Pilotwings game ever and a must-have for every 3DS owner.Pilotwings Resort Cijfer:

A fun game if you enjoy flight games I think Pilotwings Resort is a fun game. You can fly around freely. I do find it a bit disappointing that you can't fly without a time limit. It's also quite a challenging game, especially in the later levels. But all in all, a fun game. Cijfer:

Fun little game Pilotwings Resort is actually a more extensive version of flying in Wii Sports Resort. In that game, you could also fly around the entire island. That's the case here as well, but you also have missions and free flying. You do have less time, but it's still enjoyable. You can also choose other vehicles to fly in.
Flying was my favorite in Wii Sports Resort, so when I saw this on the 3DS, I got excited right away. The game is also not that expensive anymore, which is great. It's so much fun that a sequel has finally been made so long after the N64 version. Cijfer:
