Fun game, but not quite like The Sims 3.
The Sims, who doesn't know this game? To start with, this one doesn't really resemble the other Sims 3. You only have 1 sim. But there are no cheats this time, so if you want to achieve something, you have to work for it. Go to work, and maintain your relationships with other sims who come to visit you. That's the challenge, working and keeping friends. Of course, you still have your own needs, so you have to balance this well. The benefit of the 3D in this case is that you can zoom in and keep a close eye on your sim. You can also do a few things outdoors. So, it doesn't look like The Sims 3, but I'm not saying it's a bad game. It's more like The Sims 1. If you're simply a Sims fan, then this game is definitely for you!

Still a bit of a watered-down version
Okay, I admit, it's pretty unfair to compare a 3DS game to its big brother, the PC version, instead of doing an individual review. However, The Sims 3DS version (apologies for that pun) does come off as the slightly dim-witted sibling of the Sim games.

And that's a shame because the life-simulation concept works really well on a handheld. Just look at Animal Crossing, New Leaf is a hundred times better than Let's Go to the City.

Since almost everyone has a PC, its big brother is the way to go. However, this is a bit of the budget version. The game isn't bad or anything, its counterpart on the PC is just much more extensive. Conclusion: not a bad game, but in the shadow of its PC counterpart.

Your Sim
You can manage your Sim in all sorts of ways, and you have complete control over their life. You can decide how your Sim approaches their career. Will you go down the criminal path or stick to a simple office job? The job is quite boring and there is hardly any social interaction, well, except a little at parties, but those are very dull unfortunately. You can help your Sim develop socially by talking to other Sims, but personally, I find that they haven't really nailed the system. It just doesn't all flow as smoothly as I would expect. The real life but better
I've actually only played a Sims game a few times. And I have discovered that this game is not very innovative.
But it's just fun. There are some new things, for example, you can take a photo of yourself and then the game creates the most similar character from your photo.

The characters do have slightly large hands and there are a few of these kinds of mistakes but they are not so bothersome. The Sims is actually like real life but everything is easier to achieve. You can find a job in the newspaper or go play guitar in the park.

You can also choose how your character is, for example, sloppy, friendly, and smart, and you can also choose your dream. You also have to learn how to cook and other things to improve this. All these things can predict your future in the game. Your character decides most things on their own but you can also give them tasks.
The Sims 3 is fun for quite a long time and quite addictive.

Fun simulation game but limited on 3DS
The Sims 3 is a fun life simulation game, but because it has to run on the 3DS, it's a bit more limited. In this game, you create little characters (Sims) and let them live their lives. You decide everything for them. Where they live, who they marry, who they have children with, what job they get. Everything is up to you! You can even design and build a house for them yourself. The only issue I have with this is that it's not really meant for the 3DS. This sometimes makes the screen seem a bit too small and the game a bit simplified. But other than that, a really fun game.
